AT&T Brings Faster Network to Kewadin Casinos

DETROIT — AT&T Michigan said it had upgraded its 4G LTE network to provide faster, more reliable wireless service at two Kewadin Casino locations.

Hardware upgrades were made at the casino’s Christmas location on M-28 just west of Munising, and at its St. Ignace location, just north of the city east of Mackinac Trail.

The upgrades mean faster speeds and more reliable connections at both locations.

AT&T Brings Faster Network to Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties

DETROIT — AT&T Inc. announced that it has upgraded a dozen cell towers throughout Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties.

The company said the changes will help customers get the most out of their mobile devices. With 4G LTE service, they’ll see better service when watching videos, posting to social media or texting family and friends.

AT&T Brings Faster Network Around State

DETROIT — AT&T Inc. announced improvements to its 4G LTE networks all over Michigan, from metro Detroit to West Michigan to the Upper Peninsula.

The company said it added a new cell tower in Oakland Township and has upgraded cell towers elsewhere throughout the state.

The new cell tower will cover the area near Rochester Road between W. Guinn and Stoney Creek roads.

The upgraded towers are located in the following communities:

* Chippewa County: Sault Ste. Marie, along 14th St. west of I-75

* Clinton County: Fowler, Near M-21 and Wright Road

* Kalamazoo County: Richland, south of M-89, west of 32nd Street

* Mackinac County: Cedarville, on M-134 near Blindline Avenue

* Macomb County: Macomb, St. Clair Shores (two towers) and Warren (two towers)

* Oakland County: New Hudson, Milford, Rochester Hills, West Bloomfield, White Lake (two towers), Farmington Hills, Commerce Township, Waterford Township and Pontiac

* Oceana County: Hart, near Polk Road and 72nd Avenue

* Wayne County: Allen Park, Detroit (nine towers), Westland, Dearborn Heights, Canton, Taylor (three towers), Livonia, Dearborn Heights and Wayne

AT&T invested nearly $1.65 billion in its Michigan networks from 2013 through 2015. This drives a wide range of upgrades to reliability, coverage, speed and performance for residents and business customers.

AT&T Boosts Network Speeds In Port Huron Area

DETROIT — AT&T Inc. announced upgrades to two new cell towers on its 4G LTE high-speed data network in St. Clair County, giving customers in that area faster, more reliable wireless service.

The upgraded towers are in Port Huron at 16 h Street, north of Dove Street and in St. Clair at Range Road, east of I-94.

AT&T Upgrades Mackinac Island Coverage For Conference

DETROIT — AT&T Inc. announced it has upgraded its 4G LTE network on Mackinac Island to once again boost network coverage at two renowned Mackinac Island hotels, just in time for attendees of the 2016 Detroit Regional Chamber Mackinac Policy Conference.

The company has upgraded the network at the Grand Hotel and Chippewa Hotel, giving guests who are AT&T customers faster, more reliable wireless service.

In 2015, AT&T added a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) at the Grand Hotel and the strategically placed antennas distributed the company’s wireless network coverage to both hotels.

With upgraded 4G LTE service, conference-goers will see better service when reporting news from the conference, posting to social media or texting family and friends.

AT&T last week announced it had invested $1.65 billion between January 2013 and December 2015 in its Michigan wireless and wireline networks.

AT&T Says 3-Year Michigan Network Spend Was $1.65B

DETROIT — AT&T Inc. Friday announced it had spent $1.65 billion in wireless and wireline network enhancements from 2013 through 2015.

The company said that in 2015 alone, it made more than 480 wireless network upgrades in Michigan, including 27 new cell sites and nine wireless broadband upgrades.

DETROIT — AT&T Inc. says it is now covering more Mid-Michigan with its 4G network.

AT&T Expands 4G LTE network In Southeast Michigan

DETROIT — AT&T Inc. says it is now covering more of southeast Michigan with its 4G network. The changes give area residents and businesses mobile Internet speeds up to four times faster than 3G.

The upgrades can be seen in 11 Oakland County cities and townships, seven Wayne County communities, and communities in Macomb County. Also, communities in Lapeer, Genesee, Livingston and Washtenaw counties will notice network improvements/

The improvements, by county, were in the following locations:

Lapeer County – Almont

Genesee County – Davison

Macomb County – Clinton Township (two sites), Macomb Township (two sites), Roseville (two sites), Sterling Heights, Utica,

Monroe County – Monroe
