LANSING — The Michigan Strategic Fund has approved three grants to create a new business incubator in Flint and build new manufacturing plants in the Grand Rapids area and Port Huron.
BIG RAPIDS — Phil and Jocelyn Hagerman and the Hagerman Foundation have donated $5 million to Ferris State University’s College of Pharmacy, the largest single gift in the university’s history.
Hagerman is chairman and CEO of Flint-based Diplomat Pharmacy Inc., the nation’s largest independently owned specialty pharmacy.
FLINT — Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy announced that it has been selected as a provider of Zydelig tablets.
Zydelig was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on July 23 for the treatment of three B-cell blood cancers.
FLINT — Diplomat, the country’s largest independent specialty pharmacy, has acquired MedPro Rx, a Raleigh, N.C.-based specialty pharmacy focused on specialty infusion therapies, including hemophilia and immune globulin.

FLINT — Diplomat Pharmacy Inc. says it has filed a Form S-1 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission for an intial public offering of stock.
The company said that the number of shares to be sold and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.
The company also said it would use the proceeds to pay down debt and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
